FOUNDER'S VISION

From medical representative to Managing Director — a career built on discipline, ethics, and quality.

Founder With over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Manish Kumar Singh is an entrepreneur whose journey reflects resilience, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to improving healthcare. His professional path—from a Medical Representative to a successful Business Leader—has been shaped by deep industry knowledge, strong relationships, and a clear vision of creating lasting value for patients, healthcare professionals, distributors, and employees alike. A Science Graduate and a Diploma holder in Electronics & Telecommunications from Bengaluru, Mr. Singh began his professional career in 1997 with National Panasonic before transitioning into the pharmaceutical industry in 2001. During his corporate career, he held key positions at Intas Pharmaceuticals and Eris Life Sciences, where he successfully led product launches, built high-performing teams, and managed large regional operations across multiple states.

Founder In 2012, inspired by his entrepreneurial aspirations and encouraged by the unwavering support of his family—particularly his wife—Mr. Singh made the defining decision to establish his own pharmaceutical company. The company was incorporated in 2012 and officially commenced operations in 2013 from Patna with limited financial resources but an abundance of determination, confidence, and belief in the capabilities of its people. From its inception, his vision was to build an organisation that would earn the trust and respect of leading medical consultants by delivering high-quality, affordable medicines backed by ethical business practices. Beginning with a focused portfolio for Consulting Physicians, Neurologists, Psychiatrists, Gastroenterologists, Nephrologists, and Orthopaedic Specialists, the company steadily expanded its offerings to serve a broad spectrum of medical specialities while maintaining uncompromising standards of quality.

Mr. Singh firmly believes that an organisation's greatest strength lies in its people. Having personally experienced the challenges faced by medical representatives early in his career, he has always prioritised creating a workplace that offers dignity, security, opportunity, and professional growth. Even during difficult phases marked by financial constraints and employee attrition, he remained optimistic, continuously motivating his team, strengthening their capabilities, and fostering a culture of commitment and shared purpose.

Integrity forms the foundation of his leadership philosophy. He believes that truth, transparency, discipline, and ethics are not merely corporate values but the pillars upon which sustainable businesses are built. His approach extends beyond products and sales—it encompasses every aspect of the organisation, from relationships with doctors and distributors to employee engagement, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. For Mr. Singh, success is measured not only by business growth but by the positive impact the organisation creates. It is reflected in the trust of healthcare professionals, the confidence of patients in the company's medicines, the prosperity of distribution partners, and the well-being of employees and their families. He believes that genuine recognition comes when others speak positively about the organisation's contribution rather than its achievements being self-proclaimed.

Looking ahead, Mr. Singh envisions building a nationally respected pharmaceutical organisation that continues to uphold the highest standards of quality and ethics. While financial growth remains an important milestone, his larger ambition is to create meaningful employment and transform lives. By 2030, he aims to build a 250 to 300 member organisation that empowers its people, strengthens healthcare delivery, and positively impacts hundreds of families across India.

Under his leadership, the company continues to be guided by three defining principles—Discipline, Ethics, and Quality—values that shape every decision and drive its mission of delivering trusted healthcare solutions with integrity and excellence.

People first

Mr. Singh firmly believes an organisation's greatest strength lies in its people. Having personally experienced the challenges faced by medical representatives early in his career, he has always prioritised a workplace that offers dignity, security, opportunity, and professional growth.

Even through difficult phases marked by financial constraints and employee attrition, he remained optimistic — continuously motivating his team and fostering a culture of shared purpose.

Three principles, every decision

01

Discipline

The operational backbone — consistent execution across every region, every launch, every relationship.

02

Ethics

Truth, transparency, and integrity — not corporate language, but the foundation sustainable businesses are built on.

03

Quality

Uncompromising standards, from the first product basket to every therapy area added since.

The Philosophy — Three Core Beliefs

Quality is non-negotiable.

No business consideration — margin, pricing pressure, or competitive urgency — justifies compromise on the quality of a medicine.

A patient's health depends on the medicine working exactly as it should, every single time.

Access and affordability matters.

The best medicine is one the patient can actually take. Our portfolio is priced to be accessible across diverse economic segments without sacrificing formulation quality.

People are the business.

The success of Adikan rests on the relationships it builds — with its field force, distribution partners, stockists, doctor community, and ultimately the patients at the end of every prescription.
